The Rat Skate has a continuous rocker that wraps around the entire board, giving you increased turning ability and predictability, along with a medium full 50/50 rail that stays glued to the wave face no matter how hard you turn, the Rat Skate's hard edge behind the front fins gives you a crisp release giving you lots of snap while holding all of your power. Lastly, Stretch designed this shortboard with a slight vee in the nose to a 5/16" deep single concave in the middle of your feet, with a slight vee out the tail, as well. I have the Rat Skate in 6'8 and it is one of the best surfboards i've ever owned. Im about 250 and it floats me perfect and is really easy to paddle. This board holds its speed in turns and the EPS Tech has great flex!

I have a 5'6" Rat Skate and have surfed waist high crap to overhead point break on it. I'm 5'7" at 135lbs and the board works great for me. I'm in the process now of wanting to go smaller so I'm looking at Stretch's other models and having trouble choosing b/c I like the Rat Skate.
