The Channel Islands MBM+ Surfboard is a modified version of the old MBM (go figure), with modified bottom contouring thanks to your pal and master shaper: Al Merrick. Channel Islands team riders are shreddin' with the MBM+ and seeing big improvements over its ancestor, and Nathanial Curran even rode this puppy to a 2009 US Open and Lacanau Pro victory, and he's well on his way to the WCT.
A single concave bottom and a flip in the tail make the MBM + Shortboard ideal for surfing vertically in the pocket, and will help intermediate to expert surfers in big (waist to well overhead) waves step their game up considerably.
