It provides all the protection of the standard E-Bomb designs but with thicker neoprene as well as an attached hood. This E3 Neoprene blend is a super stretch neoprene that's lighter, warmer, and more flexible than anything else out there. What's just as important as the materials used is how the thing is put together, and Rip Curl has hit all the marks with the construction of these E-Bomb suits. The seams are triple glued and double blindstitched, and the seamless underarms allow unrestricted movement. For that added extra protection there's 3/4 external liquid tape in the high water penetration areas. The S-Flex knees provide extra durability without sacrificing flexibility. When you need to get in or out of this thing use the Blue Steel Head sealed zipper on teh chest which allows for better water resistance. The Batwing System adds a barrier against water entry. Any water that happens to get by can be cleared away with the 3 hole drainage system which allows it to flow out easily. To top it off there's even an external stash pocket with a key loop to keep your goodies on you at all times.
