Firewire surfboards is pushing the limits of technology in a board. After only a few years in existence Firewire continue to develop more and more technology to put into their boards. Starting with their EPS foam cores they have created an environmentally friendly core but also an extremely light board. They are also using epoxy resins which are far stronger than polyurethane boards and also emit far less of the volatile organic compounds than their PU counterpart.

Need more technology in your board? Well how about corecell skin, which is the extremely durable that has incredible strength to weight ratio. They’ve also worked in balsa wood rails to add better flex throughout the turn and great durability to help save the rails while surfing.
