Jack’s Team Rider, and local San Clementian, Patrick Gudauskas shot up to the number 4 spot in the ASP’s World Qualifying Series standings after a second place showing in the Local Motion Guaruja Pro (Brazil). Pat earned his highest score ever in the current season — 2,100 — which allowed him to discard a 1,225 score from his former best-seven results, solidifying his position late in the season. This is an extra big deal, since pat just barely missed the WQS cut last year; so close, in fact, that he was an injury substitution this year for qualified riders. Pat’s enjoying a hard-earned $10,000 from his Guaruja win, along with the even more important WQS limelight shining just around the corner. Good luck Pat! Keep those wins comin’!
